Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives
Arthur Tyde
Arthur is a futurist, technologist, and strategist with over 30 years of experience turning breakthrough technologies into global movements. At CIQ, he leads global growth and strategic initiatives, driving adoption of CIQ’s high-performance platforms for AI, HPC, and sovereign cloud across enterprise and public sector markets.
Arthur is widely recognized for identifying tectonic shifts in technology long before they hit the mainstream. As the founding CEO of Linuxcare, he not only built the first enterprise-class open-source support firm but also helped launch the foundational institutions of the open source ecosystem, including LPI, OSDL, and the Free Standards Group, which ultimately merged into what is now the Linux Foundation.
He later scaled Oracle Cloud across Asia Pacific, delivering explosive growth in Japan, Korea, and India by combining deep technical insight with the ability to land transformational deals. He secured the company’s largest cloud wins in the region. Arthur has also advised Fortune 50 companies and national governments on the strategic impact of open systems, quantum computing, blockchain, and digital infrastructure.
Today, Arthur operates at the intersection of open source, cloud, and frontier tech. He brings a futurist’s vision and a dealmaker’s precision to helping organizations navigate disruption, architect resilient platforms, and lead in a rapidly evolving AI-native world.
