AWS EKS Hybrid Nodes Announcement
CIQ is proud to announce the certification of Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) Hybrid Nodes (EKS-H) for use on Rocky Linux 9. This certification marks an important milestone in our partnership with AWS and expands the capabilities available to our mutual customers. EKS-H enables deployment and management of EKS clusters that span both on-premises environments and AWS Cloud deployments. This flexibility allows seamless movement of Kubernetes workloads to optimize performance and data availability. With this certification, users can confidently run Rocky Linux across their entire infrastructure, whether on-premises or in the cloud.
“CIQ is proud to be an AWS Partner, and we’re excited to bring Rocky Linux to EKS Hybrid Nodes for the benefit of our mutual customers. CIQ customers can feel confident that they can receive enterprise support for their EKS environments and get the most out of these powerful and scalable services. We’re very much looking forward to further collaboration with AWS!” says Nathan Blackham, Head of Linux Engineering at CIQ.
For customers seeking consistency across their AWS environment, Rocky Linux from CIQ is also certified for deployment on AWS and available from the AWS Marketplace. CIQ offers additional commercial support and enterprise site licenses to meet diverse organizational needs.
