CIQ Hires Two Open Source Sales and Solution Engineering Experts

We’re very excited to welcome two new key members to the CIQ team!

Justin Burdine has joined CIQ as director of solution engineering. Burdine joins us from Red Hat, where he was senior manager, specialist solution architects. In that role, he managed technical sales and a team of product specialists. Justin has deep experience from the customer perspective, as he worked in systems architecture for several organizations, including as managing principal within the professional services group at Verizon.

“As a customer for many years, I wanted vendors with the technical knowledge to understand the nuts and bolts of my problem. I’m excited to work with CIQ because they share this vision of sales through problem solving. At CIQ we focus on understanding and meeting the customer’s needs first and foremost,” said Burdine.

Zane Hamilton joins CIQ as vice president, sales engineering. Hamilton also comes to us from Red Hat, where he served as a cloud sales specialist. Earlier in his career, Zane was director of cloud strategy and integration for Verizon.

“I am passionate about open source solutions and how they can solve big problems for end users while allowing anyone to contribute to the goal. I look forward to working with customers in HPC and the Enterprise as we watch these two vastly different yet seemingly similar worlds come together.”
