Today’s local, national, and global challenges are motivating government agencies to find new ways to approach and solve problems. Government agencies require software supply chain security, absolute trust and transparency, validation, lower costs, and standardized hardware and software. Further, to drive innovation, government agencies are turning to AI, ML, and the cloud so that they can deliver government services that can nimbly respond to mission delivery needs and keep up with changing citizen requirements.

CIQ’s innovative software infrastructure stack (Rocky Linux, Apptainer, and Warewulf) is helping government agencies optimize, innovate, and transform quicker and more securely. Government agencies nationwide are turning to CIQ’s software infrastructure to:

  • Ensure compliance with government requirements
  • Protect your program funding
  • Modernize your infrastructure by moving away from legacy systems and transitioning to cloud/hybrid environments

Responsive, expert support

Our support escalation team provides full-stack support to ensure that your agency can meet its mission-critical objectives with ease. Whether you’re new to open source software, migrating from CentOS, consolidating multiple Linux systems, frustrated with increasing RHEL pricing, moving from on prem to cloud or hybrid, feeling legacy systems pain, or needing to meet compliance regulations such as Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM), we’re here to help you succeed.

Adopt the fastest-growing Enterprise Linux and HPC software stack with the confidence that you are backed by the leading experts in the industry. CIQ’s support pricing structure significantly reduces Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) while meeting the Federal government’s unique requirements.

Security you can trust

Our technologies enable you to operate with confidence in even the most challenging environments. As an enterprise-grade open-source platform, Rocky Linux offers a secure platform with built-in security features such as SELinux (Security-Enhanced Linux), firewall, and secure boot. These features ensure that the system is protected against malicious attacks and unauthorized access. Rocky Linux also provides regular security updates, patches, and bug fixes to address any vulnerabilities and threats that may arise.

Additionally, Rocky Linux allows for granular control over user access and permissions, ensuring that only authorized users can access sensitive data and perform critical tasks. It also offers auditing and logging features, which help to track and monitor system activity for security and compliance purposes.

Trusted by government agencies and public sector organizations

CIQ is a trusted government partner, helping Federal (Defense and Civilian), State Local Education (SLED), and commercial contractors from tier one primes meet security and risk management goals.

Certifications and accreditations

The Federal Information Processing Standard Publication 140-3, FIPS 140-3 is a U.S. government computer security standard that is used to approve cryptographic modules. FIPS validation is required in many applications with high security requirements, such as in government and defense environments.  In terms of FIPS 140-3 validation, Rocky Linux is named in the NIST Implementation Under Test List. This is an important milestone, as FedRAMP uses the National Institute of Standards and Technology's (NIST) guidelines and procedures to provide standardized security requirements for cloud services.
